For pure water and ultra-pure water for use as make-up to high-pressure boilers and for use in the pharmaceutical industry, micro-electronics industry and chemical/petrochemical industries, PT Banyu Biru Sejati water systems is available.

Our range of cation and anion exchange units are up to a flow rate 9.7m3/hr and the units employ both normal and counter-flow regeneration. These smaller standard units are:

    skid-mounted
    complete with automatic conductivity instigated regeneration
    central control panel

Control valves are either the well-proven 5-cycle multiport valve or, for larger units, a frontal manifold with individual corrosion-resistant valves.

The larger units are designed and manufactured to suit the client's requirements. The larger units typically can cope with flow rates up to 100m3/hr.

Acid and caustic used for automatic plant regeneration of the anion and cation streams can be from:

    carboys
    semi-bulk acid
    or bulk acid containers

For ultra-pure water, additional mixed bed polishers can be provided - again depending upon the applications.

Water Softening Plant

PT Banyu Biru Sejati supplies an extensive and comprehensive range of Water Softening Plant.

The presence of hardness salts (calcium and magnesium ions) in the make up water supplies to boilers, cooling and process waters can have a serious impact on their performance. Loss of heat transfer in boilers and poor cooling in re-circulating cooling systems results in an increase in both energy and water consumption, and an increase in operating costs.

The standard range of units provides service flow rates from 0.65m3/hour to 50 m3/hour, and configuring the units in a duplex or triplex system will provide a further increase in design flow rates.

The water softeners have capacities which vary from 4.3m3 to 420m3 with a total input hardness level of 200ppm expressed as calcium carbonate.

The water softeners use the well-proven "Ion Exchange" process to convert the hard water ions of calcium and magnesium to sodium ions. The resultant water to service is typically less than 4 ppm total hardness.

PT Banyu Biru Sejati's Water Softeners have several different control options for instigating automatic plant regeneration:

    Water meter control - regenerates after a specified volume of water by counting electrical pulses from the meter supplied with the softener
    Time-clock control - regenerates at regular pre-set time intervals
    Microprocessor Control System programmed for water hardness and flow rate

The softener vessels are of a seamless pressure vessel in GRP construction with moulded polyethylene inner and glass fibre reinforced wound outer shell for durability and long life.

The control valves are of the hydraulic double piston multiport type. Valves can be "top mount" or "side mount" entry for increased flow capacity.

PLANNING

PT Banyu Biru Sejati provide services in the form of planning for water treatment plant (water treatment plant) and waste water (waste water treatment plant). The planning team is supported by a workforce of trained and experienced in their fields to ensure the system is designed according to customer needs.

Erection and commissioning

Technicians and supervisors Sejati PT Banyu Biru has experience in their respective fields so that the installation work and commissioning of equipment can take place properly and in accordance with the standards required of customers.

Based on the rendered image of the customer or a drawing made by PT Banyu Biru True and has been approved by the customer, installation work carried out on site. EXAMPLE APPLICATION

1. WATER TREATMENT PLANT

A sports shoe-making factory in Serang has an artificial lake that is normally used to hold rainwater and waste water from the bathroom mess employees. Artificial lake was built large enough. Due to shortage halted water supplies, the management plan for membantun water treatment plant or a water treatment plant (WTP) that use lake water as raw water.

Lake water has a brownish color display with high levels of turbidity and suspended solids are high enough. But the capacity of the lake is large enough, the water in this lake usually does not dry out when the dry season comes. Thus, the lake water fit for use as a source of raw water for the WTP.

Raw water from the lake was first pumped to the raw water pump to the water treatment plant. A number of chemical solutions are given to adjust the acidity of water (pH) and also to facilitate the formation of particles. Mixture of raw water and chemical solvents such rapid progress secar in the Static Mixer.

Next, the mixture into the settling tank for solids separation process and the liquid. From this tank, the water from the process pengengendapan then pumped into the Sand Filter for the decreased levels of turbidity by filtration through silica sand media. 2. Domestic Waste Water Treatment Plant

This waste water originating from an office in Jakarta. The treatment process is applied is extended aeration using oxygen to speed up the activity of natural bacteria that treat wastewater in order to obtain the output is relatively clear and odor free. The process is continuous and ongoing nature of four different tanks, the tank Ekualiasasi (EqualizingTank), aeration (aeration tank), precipitation or sedimentation (settling or sedimentation tank), chlorination (Chlorination Tank), and disposal (Effluent Tank).

Raw waste water will first pass through the lattice screening or Bar Screen which eliminates the relatively large size solids such as paper and plastic tisue. Furthermore, the raw waste water into the tub equalization [Equalizing Tank] to be accommodated temporarily.

From the tank, the wastewater will be pumped constantly into the aeration tank [Tank aeration] with Pump equalization [Equalizing Pump]. In the aeration tank, the wastewater had to be stirred evenly [vigorously] with a diffused air from the blower through a series of water diffuser and mixed with activated sludge. This mixture is known as mixed liquor. Activated sludge was derived from the settling tanks and contain very many natural bacteria that will eat the organic waste, stabilize them, and assimilate into enegi, carbon dioxide, and new bio-mass.

Mixed liquor was then flows into settling tanks where solids, ie activated sludge, separate and settle. Supernatant water from the separation or having the character is relatively clear, and the levels of organic substances has been reduced tersuspensinya. Equilibrium is maintained by restoring some of the activated sludge into the aeration tank and remove [discharging] the deposition of waste water or supernatant. The supernatant is then entered into the chlorination tank.

Inside Tank Chlorination [Chlorination Tank], water processing results given chlorine solution. Its purpose is to kill bacteria and microorganisms that do not harm humans or animals. Mixture of water and chemical solution takes place in the barriers that winding [baffle]. This process is known as disinfection. The results of the disinfection process is accommodated temporarily in the tank Expenditure [Effluent Tank] and was ready to thrown into the common channel or a nearby river.

ION EXCHANGE (exchange ION)
Ion exchange technology have actually been used for years in the industry. During its development, there is now a wide range of resins contained in the market for various needs and regeneration system. As such, allow for savings in investment and operational costs. Ion exchange equipment used in the simplest of the softener and the other is a Double Bed Bed Demineralizer Demineralizer and Mix.

• Softener
Softener is a device to eliminate the content of calcium ions (Ca) and magnesium (Mg) from the water. In this way, levels of hardness (hardness) of water. The process is to replace Ca and Mg ions from the raw water with sodium ions (Na). If the softener has done a good job, it is necessary to the addition of Na ions. While on Bed Mix Demineralizer, both types of ion exchange resins are included in the same tank.

 The process uses ion exchange resins which can be negative (anions) and positive ions (cations) from the water. In this way, water will be obtained with a much higher purity than the raw water. The regeneration of the Double Bed Bed Demineralizer Demineralizer and Mix can be done with manual or automatic based on time or levels of dissolved solids in the product water).



REVERSE OSMOSIS (RO)
Reverse Osmosis technologies, or commonly abbreviated Ro is the fastest growing technologies in water treatment. Since the old technology is used to produce water that can be used as a source of drinking water from almost any type of raw water. RO technology uses a special membrane and a high pressure process and therefore caused the separation of various elements dissolved in water. This method can produce drinking water quality standards in accordance with World Health Organization or WHO (World Health Organization). PERENCANAAN

Tim perencanaan didukung oleh tenaga kerja yang terlatih dan berpengalaman dalam bidangnya untuk memastikan sistem yang dirancang sesuai dengan kebutuhan pelanggan.

Perencanaan dimuali dari pengumpulan data yang diperoleh dari calon pelanggan atau berdasarkan jawaban pelanggan terhadap questionare yang diberikan. Data lainnya yang diperlukan juga bisa berupa hasil analisis laboratorium dari contoh yang telah diambil di lokasi pekerjaan. Berdasarkan data ini perencanaan akan diteruskan sampai diperoleh gambar pemasangan (shop drawing) untuk diterapkan di lokasi pekerjaan nantinya.


PEMASANGAN dan COMMISSIONING

Teknisi dan supervisor PT Banyu Biru Sejati memiliki pengalaman dalam bidang mereka masing-masing sehingga pekerjaan pemasangan dan commissioning peralatan dapat berlangsung dengan baik dan sesuai dengan standar yang diperlukan pelanggan.

Berdasarkan gambar yang diberikan dari pelanggan atau gambar yang dibuat oleh PT Banyu Biru Sejati dan telah mendapat persetujuan pelanggan, pemasangan dilaksanakan di lokasi pekerjaan. Setiap penyimpangan dari gambar yang dibuat akan diberitahukan kepada pelanggan dan dimintakan persetujuan atau masukan yang diperlukan sehingga pelaksanaan pekerjaan dapat tetap terlaksana sesuai dengan jadwal proyek.

Commissioning dilaksanakan setelah semua peralatan dan material terpasang sesuai dengan shop drawing. Selain itu, peralatan dan material yang terpasang telah menjalani pengujian pendahuluan (preliminary test) serta persetujuan dari pihak-pihak yang terkait. Waktu yang diperlukan untuk commissioning bergantung pada jenis dan besar pekerjaan. Dalam masa commissioning ini, kami juga melakukan pelatihan (training) kepada calon operator atau wakil pelanggan untuk menjalankan semua peralatan sesuai prosedur dan melakukan pemeliharaannya sesuai dengan buku instruction manual yang telah dibuat.

CONTOH APPLIKASI

1. INSTALASI PENGOLAHAN AIR

Sebuah pabrik pembuatan sepatu olah raga di Serang mempunyai danau buatan yang biasanya digunakan untuk menampung air hujan dan air buangan dari kamar mandi mess karyawan. Danau buatan dibangun cukup besar. Karena muali kekurangan pasokan air bersih, maka pihak manajemen merencanakan untuk membantun instalasi pengolahan air atau water treatment plant (WTP) yang memanfaatkan air danau tersebut sebagai air bakunya.

Air danau mempunyai tampilan berwarna kecoklatan dengan kadar kekeruhan dan zat padat tersuspensi cukup tinggi. Namun kapasitas danau yang cukup besar, air di dalam danau ini biasanya tidak mengering ketika musim kemarau tiba. Dengan demikian, air danau layak digunakan sebagai sumber air baku untuk WTP.

Air baku dari dalam danau pertama kali dipompa dengan pompa air baku menuju ke instalasi pengolahan air. Sejumlah larutan kimia diberikan untuk mengatur derajat keasaman air (pH) dan juga untuk memudahkan pembentukan partikel. Percampuran antara air baku dan larutan-larutan kimia tersebut berlangsung secar cepat di dalam Static Mixer.

Selanjutnya, campuran masuk ke dalam Settling Tank untuk proses pemisahan zat padat dan zat cair. Dari tangki ini, air hasil proses pengengendapan kemudian dipompa menuju Sand Filter untuk penurunan kadar kekeruhan dengan penyaringan melalui media silica sand. Air hasil penyaringan kemudian dibubuhi lagi dengan larutan klorin untuk proses desinfeksi sebelum ditampung di dalam Reservoir sebagai air bersih yang merupakan produk akhir. Dari tangki ini, air produk ini kemudian didistribusikan ke tempat-tempat yang memerlukannya dengan bantuan Distribution Pump.

2.    Instalasi Pengolahan Air Limbah Domestik

Air limbah ini berasal dari suatu perkantoran di Jakarta. Proses pengolahan yang diterapkan adalah extended aeration yang menggunakan oksigen untuk mempercepat aktivitas bakteria alam yang mengolah air limbah sehingga diperoleh hasil keluaran yang relatif lebih jernih dan bebas bau. Prosesnya secara kontinyu dan berlangsung alam empat tangki yang berbeda, yaitu tangki Ekualiasasi (EqualizingTank), Aerasi (Aeration Tank), pengendapan atau sedimentasi (Settling atau Sedimentation Tank), klorinasi (Chlorination Tank), dan pembuangan (Effluent Tank).

Air limbah baku pertama kali akan melewati kisi penyaringan atau Bar Screen yang menghilangkan zat padat berukuran relatif besar, misalnya kertas tisue dan plastik. Selanjutnya, air limbah baku masuk ke dalam bak ekualisasi [Equalizing Tank] untuk ditampung sementara waktu. 

Dari tangki itu, air limbah akan dipompa secara konstan ke dalam Tangki Aerasi [Aeration Tank] dengan Pompa Ekualisasi [Equalizing Pump]. Di dalam tangki aerasi, air limbah tadi  akan diaduk secara merata [vigorously] dengan udara yang terdifusi dari Blower melalui serangkaian air diffuser dan dicampur dengan lumpur aktif. Campuran ini dikenal dengan sebutan mixed liquor. Lumpur aktif tadi berasal dari tangki pengendapan dan mengandung sangat banyak bakteri alam yang akan memangsa limbah organik, menstabilkannya, dan mengasimilasinya menjadi enegi, karbon dioksida, dan bio massa baru.

Mixed liquor tadi kemudian mengalir masuk ke dalam tangki pengendapan dimana zat padat, yaitu lumpur aktif, terpisah dan mengendap. Air hasil pemisahan atau supernatan mempunyai karakter relatif sudah jernih, kadar organiknya maupun zat tersuspensinya sudah berkurang. Kesetimbangan dipertahankan dengan mengembalikan sebagian lumpur aktif ke dalam tangki aerasi dan mengeluarkan [discharging] air limbah hasil pengendapan atau supernatan. Supernatan ini selanjutnya masuk ke dalam tangki klorinasi.

Di dalam Tangki Klorinasi [Chlorination Tank], air hasil pengolahan diberi larutan klorin. Maksudnya adalah untuk membunuh bakteri dan mikroorganisme agar tidak membahayakan manusia atau hewan. Percampuran antara air dan larutan kimia berlangsung di dalam sekat-sekat yang berliku [baffle]. Proses ini dikenal dengan nama desinfeksi. Hasil proses desinfeksi ini ditampung sementara di dalam Tangki Pengeluaran [Effluent Tank] dan sudah siap dibuang ke saluran umum atau sungai terdekat.

ION EXCHANGE (PENUKARAN ION)
Teknologi penukaran ion sebetulnya sudah digunakan selama bertahun-tahun dalam industri. Dalam perkembangannya, sekarang ini ada berbagai macam resin yang terdapat di pasaran untuk berbagai kebutuhan dan sistem regenerasi. Dengan demikian, memungkinkan adanya penghematan dalam investasi dan biaya operasional.  Peralatan penukaran ion yang paling sederhana digunakan di dalam softener dan yang lain adalah Double Bed Demineralizer serta Mix Bed Demineralizer.

•    Softener
Softener merupakan peralatan untuk menghilangkan kandungan ion kalsium (Ca) dan magnesium (Mg) dari dalam air. Dengan cara ini, kadar kesadahan (hardness) air. Prosesnya adalah menggantikan ion Ca dan Mg dari dalam air baku dengan ion natrium (Na).  Apabila softener telah melaksanakan tugasnya dengan baik, maka perlu dilakukan penambahan ion Na. Proses ini disebut sebagai regenerasi. Sumber ion Na adalah garam. Proses regenerasi dapat dilakukan dengan manual atau automatis (berdasarkan waktu atau volume air produk).

•    Double Bed Deminerlizer
•    Mix Bed Demineralizer
Untuk menghilangkan kadar ion-ion lain dari dalam air, selain ion Ca dan Mg, maka peralatan yang dapat digunakan adalah Double Bed Demineralizer atau Mix Bed Demineralizer. Resin penukar ion positif dan ion negatif dimasukkan ke dalam dua tangki yang berbeda di dalam Double Bed Demineralizer. Sementara pada Mix Bed Demineralizer, kedua jenis resin penukar ion tersebut dimasukkan di dalam satu tangki yang sama.

 Prosesnya menggunakan resin yang dapat menukar ion negatif (anion) dan ion positif (kation) dari dalam air. Dengan cara ini, akan diperolah air dengan kemurnian yang jauh lebih tinggi daripada air baku. Proses regenerasi pada Double Bed Demineralizer dan Mix Bed Demineralizer dapat dilakukan dengan manual atau automatis berdasarkan waktu atau kadar zat padat terlarut dalam air produk).



REVERSE OSMOSIS (RO)
Teknologi Reverse Osmosis atau biasa disingkat Ro merupakan teknologi yang paling cepat berkembang dalam pengolahan air. Sejak lama teknologi ini digunakan untuk menghasilkan air yang dapat digunakan sebagai sumber air minum dari hampir semua jenis air baku. Teknologi RO menggunakan membran khusus dan proses tekanan tinggi sehingga memungkinkan terjadi pemisahan berbagai unsur terlarut dari dalam air. Metode ini dapat menghasilkan air minum yang sesuai dengan baku mutu organisasi kesehatan dunia atau WHO (World Health Organization). Sistem RO yang dapat kami sediakan dapat digunakan dalam berbagai jenis air baku sebagai berikut.
